Seafoam Green
Bright, iridescent and impossibly fresh, seafoam green is a vibrant color created by mixing light blue green with gray. The result is a pale yellow green that is lighter, stronger and yellower than smoke gray, stronger and slightly lighter than oyster gray, and paler and yellower than Nile. The color, though it is vibrant, is reminiscent of the sea and therefore has a relaxing effect, especially when paired with the right hues. Seafoam green is an extremely versatile color that pairs well with other color. You may find the pigment paired with whites and beiges in a home, or corals, bright pinks or vibrant purples on clothing. For extreme contrast, you may consider pairing seafoam green with black or deep gray. Despite the fact that the color is almost a blue in and of itself, it pairs well with other blue hues, such as navy, royal blue, cyan and Tiffany blue. It also looks great with other greens, such as emerald green and forest green. There are actually few colors with which this color does not go well. For this reason, it is often used by interior designers and homeowners as a main color palette or as an accent color. Seafoam green is often associated with growth and renewal, yet another reason many choose to decorate their homes with it.
