In this practical guide, we've shared how to delete a page in InDesign, so you can trim unnecessary content and move on with your creative project.
Working with the Pages Panel
InDesign's Pages panel includes a section for master pages and a section for the main document pages. To view the Pages panel, select "Window" > "Pages", and then click on the page that you'd like to edit. If you hold down the Ctrl key (or Command on Mac) while clicking, you can select multiple pages.
How to Delete a Page in InDesign
Click on any page in the Pages panel to select it. If you'd like to delete multiple pages at once, hold Ctrl/Command and click on the desired pages. Meanwhile, holding the Shift key while clicking will select a range of pages in sequence.
With the pages selected, click the "Delete Selected Pages" icon at the bottom of the Pages panel to delete them. The icon looks like a tiny trash can.
If you're deleting pages that contain objects, InDesign will display a Warning dialog box, which gives you a chance to change your mind. This is helpful if you accidentally try to delete a page while working too quickly. On the other hand, if you delete a blank page, InDesign will simply remove it from the project without a dialog box warning.
