Helping our customers understand our Shutterstock plans before they ever make a commitment is part of our company success. When we do this properly, there should never be a time when customers feel that they did not understand the type of service purchased. Of course, we offer easy-to-use on demand service for customers who need a fixed number of images. However, many of our customers enjoy the lower per image pricing and easy renewability of our Shutterstock image plans.
Our monthly subscription plan is just what it says – a plan that is charged each month without any long-term commitment. This type of plan allows our customers to benefit from lower per download pricing and retain needed flexibility. These plans all come with free access to our Shutterstock Editor Pro. Monthly subscription plans include:
Shutterstock annual value-priced plans can lower the cost per image even more and have a default auto-renew setting to ensure that there is never a break in service. These plans are billed monthly and do require an annual commitment. The auto-renewal option can be turned off with this type of plan during the last month of the contract. Each plan comes with free access to Shutterstock Editor Pro and can save our customers up to 40%. Annual subscription plans include:
When the auto-renew feature is active on your account, you are also covered by Shutterstock’s Price Protection feature (available only on image plans). This feature locks in the price you paid for your image plan so that even if our website prices go up, yours are guaranteed to remain the same. This price protection coverage stays in effect for 15 months after the original purchase on accounts that keep the auto-renewal turned on.
Customers needing to cancel any plan with an annual commitment may be charged a cancellation fee at that time. More information about specific fees is available for customers who call our service center requesting a cancellation.
