Sarit grew up in different parts of California, Arizona and Colorado. She photographed show horses and dogs professionally for many years while at the same time working clerical jobs and completing a degree in Linguistics to teach English as a Second Language at San Diego State University. She spent her spare time hiking and off-roading with a Honda motorcycle in the deserts and mountains of Southern California. In 1995, Sarit relocated and began teaching English, working in medical offices, and photographing in far Northern California and Southern Oregon where dog agility became her main focus. In 2010, she moved to Israel as a pensioner and began exploring the Holy Land antiquities and Israeli nature sites with her cameras and passion. One of Sarit's hobbies during all this time has been growing cacti and of course photographing their incredible flowers. Sarit's portfolio reflects her eclectic life and range of interests.
