On Friday, May 27th, 2022, protestors gathered by the thousand outside George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, to stage a demonstration against the NRA and those in attendance at the event including Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and other controversial right wing figures. Speakers at the protest included Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke, Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg, and Congresswoman Shiela Jackson Lee.
