The commandment mentioned in the title, which in the Catholic version preaches "Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor," references a journalist's duty to tell the truth, something both mother and daughter in the series pay high prices for doing, both against the U.S. and Mexican governments but also drug traffickers
