Philippines' 124th Year Of Independency in Quezon - 12 Jun 2022
An effigy of President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr stands along with the carved names of heroes and martyrs who valiantly fought the Marcos regime during Martial Law. Various group take part in a movement during the celebration of 124th year of Philippine Independence Day. Activists and human right advocates staged an Independence Day activity focusing on state of freedom in the country which discusses the freedom of the press, economic freedom and national sovereignty which is believed that will be under threat by the new incoming administration of Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
