Defend David Miller campaign, Bristol, UK - 31 Mar 2021
; Bristol, UK. A coalition of Labour Left organisations including Labour Campaign for Free Speech and speakers hold a lobby in defence of academic freedom and Professor David Miller outside Bristol University. Around 50 protesters assembled at 2pm outside the Wills Memorial Building to express solidarity and support for Professor Miller who has been suspended by the University of Bristol over allegations of anti-semitism. Speakers included Dr. Eldin Fahmy, Senior Lecturer of Policy Studies at University of Bristol, Sandy Kennedy, a former graduate from Bristol University, who has worked in an Israeli Kibbutz, and there were messages of support from Roger Waters, Alexei Sayle, Chris Williamson MP, Ken Loach, and Jonathan Cook.
