This Spring, TBWAIstanbul came up with a novel way to let creatives in Turkey know about the growth of Shutterstock’s local content. The agency set up an “outdoor gallery” project that turned real-world locations into “watermarked” Shutterstock images.
The Shutterstock watermark was painted onto physical structures for the project, which used anamorphic techniques over multiple surfaces to make the final result look complete when viewed from the right angle. Better yet, people who used augmented-reality app Blippar to photograph the installations could then download the associated images from Shutterstock for free.
