This week, from October 10-12, AIGA hosts its Head, Heart, Hand design conference in Minneapolis, drawing creative professionals from far and wide to focus on the craft, strategy, and social impact of design. The event, which is also a celebration of AIGA’s Centennial, includes a closing party featuring another no-holds-barred Shutterstock Pixels of Fury competition.
As always, competitors will face off to create original posters in just 20 minutes, armed only with Shutterstock assets and their imaginations. It all happens in front of a live crowd at a party featuring drinks, food, tunes by DJ Funzen, a Bosco GIF photo booth, and an audience napkin-sketch contest.
Plus, in addition to winning the enviable Pixels of Fury trophy, a three-month Shutterstock subscription, and an Apple gift card, the HHH Pixels of Fury champion will also take home a special extra prize courtesy of Monotype: the Linotype Originals Library, valued at $6,599.
Read on to meet the contestants who will be battling it out this Saturday night at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, then check back next week to see who won and what went down!
