Offset by Shutterstock is a hand-picked collection of extraordinary, engaging imagery from top artists and storytellers around the world.

Ever wish you could take a trip back to your art-school days, breaking out the basics like pencils and paper to create with other like-minded artists? Many did just that at the annual ADC Festival of Art + Craft in Advertising and Design in Miami Beach last week.

Offset was on location for the event, partnering with New York-based Photo Booth Party, felt designer Deidre Kindall of Sugar Snap Boutique, and photographer Samuel Sachs Morgan to create a three-day immersive photo-booth experience for festival attendees.

Inspired by Miami’s Art Deco cityscape, the South Beach lifestyle, and Florida kitsch, we populated the booth with found and created ephemera, as well as images from Offset’s curated collection, “Miami.” Check out some of Deidre’s design process below.

Using these images as inspiration, we brought everyone back to their grandmother’s living room (albeit a kitschy tropical one) for the first day of the photo booth.

On the second day, we took in the scene outside by creating the ultimate beach setting, complete with a bicycle-operated ice cream cart and unique felt ice-cream cones created by Sugar Snap Boutique.

And on day three, we prepared to set sail with vintage life preservers, a multicolored dinghy boat, and, of course, a fishing rod.
