A lot goes into making compelling commercials. There’s pitching the idea, storyboarding the actual video, location scouting, actor auditions, clearing locations, getting permits — and that’s before you even turn a camera on. So what if you don’t have the time to do all of that?

The creative folks at JaegerSloan Studio reached out recently to let us know they’d be working on a spot for the launch of the newly re-branded Foursquare. The catch? They only had a week to deliver the final product. With a timeline so short, they needed to find a way to use preexisting footage in their video.

We can’t stress how awesome JaegerSloan’s Doug Jaeger and Kristin Sloan were for letting us document their work, which enabled us to create this special insider video showing exactly how they helped bring the new branding of Foursquare to life.
