In this monthly series, our friends at CreativeMornings highlight some of their favorite talks, speakers, and themes. This installment features Josh Gott, Creative Director at Epipheo, who believes that everyone has a story to tell.
Josh Gott makes his bread and butter telling stories. Working with a range of clients, Gott and his team at Epipheo hone in on what really matters: uncovering hidden truths. They communicate that story through videos in a way that is delightful and easy to share.
At the local CreativeMornings/Cincinnati chapter, Gott speaks on that process of discovery, how to unearth your own truths and focus on aligning your life to that. “For many of us, we don’t know what our hidden truths are, we can’t see them,” he explains to the audience. “If you don’t know what your truth is, there’s no telling where your story could take you. In life, everyone ends up somewhere, very few end up there on purpose.”
Gott believes that everyone has a story to tell and, more often than not, they don’t know what that story is. If we take time to invest in discovering that truth and story, we’ll have a better idea of where we want to end up and a much better chance of actually getting there.
