Every year we analyze creative trends that inspire us visually. For 2020, some of the Creative Trends we loved include flowers in full bloom, minimalist black, and CBD on the rise. But what gets our team really excited? When our Editorial contributors capture images of celebrities, red carpets, fashion weeks, and events and spot creative trends in the wild.
Not just creative trends, but also colors that are gaining popularity. Our Color Trends predicted colors like Lush Lava, Aqua Menthe, and Phantom Blue on the rise. Pantone announced classic blue for Color of the Year 2020. So we love when we see people rocking these colorful hues.

The color embodies sophistication and stability, and we love seeing this color spotted on the Royals and beyond. Here are some of our favorite images our photographers captured in 2020 that encapsulate this color trend. To get inspired by more Phantom Blue imagery, click here for the full trend report.
Trend #3: Lush Lava (2020 Color Trend)
Not quite orange, but not quite red. We’re all about this in-between sunset hue. Combining the intense boldness of red with the energy and warmth of orange, spotting Lush Lava in the wild is one of our favorite pastimes. This color pops against any carpet or backdrop.
