Shutterstock®'s Photo Library Exceeds One Million Premium, Royalty-Free Images

Shutterstock® is proud to announce that its photo library has exceeded one million images (www.Shutterstock.com). Launched in 2003, Shutterstock is the largest subscription stock photo agency in the world, known for its outstanding photo library and straightforward subscription model. This milestone is made possible by Shutterstock's steady pace of growth; its collection of royalty-free images grows by over 15,000 images every week and has already doubled in 2006.
All of the images submitted to Shutterstock are evaluated according to strict standards, and only the ones that measure up are added to the collection. The one millionth approved image is a beautiful photograph of a flamingo, shot by a Shutterstock photographer from Polynesia.
