Shutterstock® (www.Shutterstock.com) is pleased to announce the introduction of two new features. The first, the CD-a-Month program, provides subscribers with a back-up disc with all the images downloaded in a given month. The second, a new Enhanced License, extends the use of Shutterstock images to even broader applications. Both new features were developed in response to customer feedback.

Shutterstock takes its customers' comments extremely seriously. Equally important is the satisfaction of its contributing photographers - Shutterstock routinely seeks photographer feedback by way of the submitter forums before making upgrades to the site.

"We can only grow as fast as our customer base and photo collection, so it's important that everyone be happy," said Jon Oringer, Shutterstock Founder and CEO. "In the last quarter we have grown to become the largest subscription-based stock photo agency anywhere - we hope that means we're doing something right."

The CD-a-Month program - the first CD program offered by a subscription service - is garnering rave reviews from subscribers. Subscribers who sign up for this automatic back-up system will receive a CD by mail at the end of the month with all of the images they downloaded during that 30-day period. The program costs $49 per month. Contributing photographers receive an additional pay-out when one of their images is saved to disc.

Shutterstock's new Enhanced License permits customers to use images as never before. Shutterstock's regular license, while broad, prohibits certain uses including unlimited production, use in greeting cards, and reproduction on production packaging. The Enhanced License permits all this, and more. Subscribers choose between 2, 5, or 25 downloads and can use them anytime for up to a year.

Contributing photographers receive a higher payout for each image downloaded under the Enhanced License.
