FAQ and Support

Do I need a Shutterstock account? You can use Shutterstock for iPad without a Shutterstock account, but if you have an account, you will be able to work with lightboxes. Use the same login and password you use for www.shutterstock.com. If you don’t have an account, you can create a free browse account within the app. How do I use lightboxes? Lightboxes are collections of images you create. When you’re logged in to Shutterstock for iPad, you can create, view, and edit lightboxes associated with your Shutterstock account. You can also share them with anyone. Can I download files onto my iPad? Shutterstock for iPad does not currently support image downloads. Visit Shutterstock from your computer to access your saved lightboxes and download files.
What hardware do I need? Shutterstock for iPad works with iPad and iPad 2. We do not support other devices at this time. Does the app support footage? No. You can search and view the Shutterstock Images collection, but the app does not currently support Shutterstock Footage. How much does the app cost? Shutterstock for iPad is free.
