Get Around Faster With Easier Navigation

The submit.shutterstock.com site just got a facelift! You might have noticed the new dark-grey navigation bar at the top when you log in. It’s there to help you get around the site faster, and to put information you need in easy reach.

What’s so special about this nav bar?

  • We now show your cumulative unpaid balance (gross earnings) at the top of the page, instead of your monthly earnings and monthly downloads, so it’s easier to see how close you are to your next payout. (If you exceed your payout threshold every month, you won’t notice this change.)
  • The new “insights” menu will help you access all our neat statistical tools (some of which were previously available only through the Darkroom page).
  • Your name now appears in the nav bar. Navigate to it for quick access to your account settings.
  • When you’re on a page with help available, a ? icon will show up. Click on it for help.

The new nav bar is just one of the improvements we’re adding to keep the Shutterstock Contributor site the best in the business. We hope you like it!

Best Regards,
The Shutterstock Contributor Team

Shutterstock team,

Sometimes you try to make things go smoother and more interesting and it is most welcome and appreciated. BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE MONTHLY EARNINGS STAT option to the front page. and make the approved and rejected section easier to navigate!

thanks

Please, please, please, put monthly earnings and downloads back on front page. I am really missing these items when I log in.

What’s the old saying…don’t fix it, if it’s not broken.

Why? why? Why? WHY? Why you are working with interface of site if there are a lot of bugs in system. EXIF information does not read from vector. EPS files are missing sometimes. Content Overview shows incorrect information in “images to be submitted” section……… Please fix these problems. We don’t need cute interface. We need reliable instruments to uploading and submitting files

Guys, something is wrong here…there are images showing up in the “images to be submitted” line including images that I already submitted, and also previously accepted and rejected images…so what’s going on? :(

Absolutely agreed with the others about MONTHLY DOWNLOADS, please bring them back. And absolutely disappointed about new interface – the old one was much more better…

I like the changes, the site works smoother and is clearer but, there is always a but, I agree with many other people, great changes but please bring back monthly downloads and monthly earnings to date on the opening page, much easier to check at a glance each morning. I only check my total earnings now and again, for me it is not as important as my monthly targets. I still love the map with the latest sales!!!
