Stay Plugged In With Shutterstock Contributor Mobile

If you’re like most Shutterstock contributors, you keep a close eye on your earnings. Now we’ve made it really easy to check your stats from your mobile device.

Shutterstock Contributor Mobile is our new mobile web application for our artists. It’s an HTML5 app, so it works right in your device’s web browser. You don’t need to download or install anything.

You can access Shutterstock’s Contributor Mobile web app by going to submit.shutterstock.com from the web browser in your mobile device. iPhone users can create a Homescreen shortcut to the app by visiting the URL, clicking the arrow icon in the lower part of the browser window, and selecting “Add to Homescreen.”

The app lets you:
• See your most recent downloads from the last 7 days.
• View total unpaid earnings.
• View details for recent downloads, such as number of total downloads and earnings associated with each.
• See keywords associated with recent downloads.

We’ve designed the app for iPhones with iOS 4 to 6, and Android phones with systems 2.3 to 4+. (Note that because of the wide variety of Android devices, this app might not work on all Android devices. We have also found that clearing the history or cache in your device’s browser can fix errors some users experienced with earlier versions of the program.) Give it a try and, as always, let us know what you think!

Best Regards,
The Shutterstock Mobile Team

Stay Plugged In With Shutterstock Contributor Mobile | Shutterbuzz interesting post. I tought this piece of news would be of interest: Facebook’s acquisition of Instagram, an online photo-sharing site, has been cleared by regulators in the US and UK, paving the way for its completion almost three months later than the companies had originally hoped.

I’ve found a really good free ocr app which converts images to text. It works well compared to many the other ocr apps that do this.
