Shutterstock is proud to announce that our contributor website is now available in Brazilian Portuguese. This exciting addition signifies the importance of our Brazilian contributors, of which we have hundreds, and will allow us to acquire even more great Brazilian content to share with you.

“Shutterstock contributors from over 100 countries can attest to the power of our marketplace,” says Scott Braut, Shutterstock’s Vice President of Content. “The addition of Brazilian Portuguese to our contributor site will allow us to engage new contributors and bring in exciting content that offers a local, unique perspective from one of the world’s most creative countries.”

Since 2013, Brazilian contributors have added over 50,000 images to the Shutterstock collection. Beto Chagas, a Saõ Paulo-based contributor and a 2013 Shutterstock Stories grant recipient, is among the country’s top stock photographers and has a portfolio of more than 6,700 images. In regard to the language addition, he stated, “For Brazilian contributors like myself, the new site translation will allow for an easier submission process and a streamlined workflow. It is wonderful to see Shutterstock engaging with Brazilian artists in this way.”

To commemorate the announcement, we’ve compiled a video reel that showcases the people, energy, and stunning landscapes of Brazil:
