Some artists are as talented at illustration as they are at photography, and use their abilities to create lush, immersive photo illustrations. To see what we mean, look no further than Binkski (no, not Banksy!), a U.K.-based photo-illustrator who contributes his work to Shutterstock. Binkski’s sweeping portfolio includes beautiful conceptual photos, simple and versatile vector illustrations, and even a few 3D renderings— a mix that’s very popular with customers.

When you look at images by Shutterstock photographer Kati Molin, you enter a world of harmonious colors, pleasing textures, and beautiful locations. Molin constructs idyllic scenes of comfort, and photographs subjects that include homes, pets, holiday themes, nature, people and more.
“I don’t really think about what buyers might want, I just shoot what I feel like shooting,” Molin says. “I try to keep my portfolio versatile and be prepared for the biggest seasons. As soon as I have a theme for shooting I make a rough plan, get some stuff for a shoot if needed and shoot plenty of images.”

Ana de Sousa is a Portuguese photographer who has been contributing to Shutterstock since 2005 and has almost 1,700 images in the collection. Andrejs Pidjass has been a Shutterstock contributor since 2006, and since then has added over 12,000 images to the Shutterstock collection. They include business, travel, health, beauty and concept shots that are consistent favorites of Shutterstock customers. Pidjass shoots a Nikon D700 and is based in Latvia.
