Please excuse the pun (in referencing the ever popular Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy), but we just couldn’t help ourselves. The photographs of Mayer George Vladimirovich are steamy, tantalizing, and dangerously fashionable. They also happen to be peppered with gorgeous – and sometimes naughty – women in various stages of undress.

Mayer’s use of soft, smokey colors, dramatic depth of field, and minimalist interiors make his photos delicately seductive and charged with emotion. He’s a master at capturing beauty close up, sometimes injecting a subtle playful irreverence into his costume photography. But where Mayer really comes to life is with his darker works, which portray an almost Royal Tenenbaum-like iciness that’s both sophisticated and bare.
