Feline Fans, the Shutterstock Blog is hosting our 2011 series of elimination championship votes to choose the all-time champion of cat photos.

See the cats we’ve selected to face off in each of four categories: All Dressed Up, Kool Kats, Illustrated Cats, and Flying Cats.

The first round of voting for our 32 cat stars (in two 16-cat divisions) will take place today through Monday, March 21. Our next round of voting, going from 16 to 8 characters, begins Tuesday, March 22 to the 24th. The Category 8 CatFinals begin Friday, March 25 to Monday, March 28. Feline-4 voting – narrowing our final four cats (one from each category) – begins Wednesday, March 30 until Thursday, April 1. The Championship Round of voting begins Friday, April 2 to Monday, April 5, and the winner will be announced April 6.
